Mock Parliament Held at Greenwood High School, Hunter Road
Hunter Road, January 29, 2025 – Greenwood High School hosted a lively and informative Mock Parliament Session, offering students an invaluable opportunity to engage in the workings of a democratic system. Students from Classes 8 and 9 participated enthusiastically, assuming roles as members of both the ruling and opposition parties. They raised and debated various relevant issues, showcasing their oratory and critical thinking skills.





The event was further enriched by the presence of the school’s Director, Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, who observed the entire session and actively participated by asking insightful questions throughout the proceedings. His engagement with the students provided a stimulating environment, encouraging deeper discussions and reflections on the topics raised.

The Mock Parliament was a tremendous success, not only enhancing students’ understanding of political processesbut also helping them develop essential skills in public speaking, leadership, logical thinking, and teamwork. The students’ ability to debate issues with confidence and clarity was a highlight of the session.
