NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

National science Day is celebrated in India on February 28 every year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sri CV Raman on February 28, 1928.

In 1928, Shri CV Raman discovered the Raman effect, which is the scattering of light by molecules. This discovery led to a deeper understanding of the behaviour of lights and its interaction with matter. Raman‘s discovery was recognised with the noble prize in physics in 1930.

National Science Day celebrated to recognise the contribution of Indian scientists, promote scientific awareness, encouraging young minds, foster culture of innovation.

ABHYAAS the global School celebrated national science Day as“EXPLORING THE WONDERS OF SCIENCE.”
