National Science Day Celebrations at Greenwood High School, Mancherial


Greenwood High School, Mancherial, celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm under the guidance of Principal Mr. R. Chandramohan and *Vice Principal Mr. G. Thirupathi. The event was coordinated by science teachers **Mr. Balakrishnan, Mr. O. Venkatesh, and Mrs. Saba Firdose, who played a key role in preparing students for their project explanations. *Mrs. M. Soujanya, the EVS teacher, also contributed to the success of the event.



The exhibition segment featured a variety of science exhibits brought by students, who explained their projects with confidence and clarity. The judging panel included Mrs. M. Soujanya Latha, Mrs. M. Ramakrishna, and Mrs. Saba Firdous, who evaluated the exhibits and selected the winners across different categories.

Afternoon Session

The afternoon session commenced with *Principal Mr. R. Chandramohan and Vice Principal Mr. G. Thirupathi garlanding the portrait of Sir C.V. Raman, honoring his invaluable contributions to science. **Mr. Balakrishnan, the science teacher, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the significance of National Science Day. *Hanika from Grade 8 also delivered a speech, sharing her insights on the importance of scientific innovation. The session concluded with the Principal Mr. Chandramohan ‘ s address, where he motivated students to cultivate a scientific mindset and explore the wonders of science.
