The Spelling Bee Genius Quiz Competition was conducted at Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy, Hanumakonda on 6th November 2025. The event aimed to promote language development, enhance spelling proficiency, and encourage students to enrich their vocabulary through fun and learning.
The Preliminary Screening Test was held on 31st Oct 2025 in which students from Classes IV- VII participated enthusiastically. Based on their scores, three students from each class, total 36 students have been advanced to the Semi-Final Round.
In the semi-finals, participants were divided into nine teams with full transparency, the teams were:
- Alphabet Avengers
- Spelling Ninjas
- Pikachu Spelling Shockers
- Nectar Navigators
- Dictionary Demons
- Dora the Word Explorer
- The Hive Minds
- The Lexicon Lions
- The Little Legends
The semi-final round showcased a blend of excitement and healthy competition.
After a thorough screening test, four teams qualified for the Final Quiz Round:
- Dictionary Demons
- Dora the Word Explorer
- Alphabet Avengers
- Nectar Navigators
The final round was filled with energy and quick thinking as the teams battled
for the top position. The winners were as follows:

The competition was organized by the Department of English and received an enthusiastic response from students and teachers alike. Events like these not only make learning enjoyable but also strengthen students’ confidence and communication skills. With the guidance and support of the principal and management, the school will be coming up with more innovative activities.
