The temple was developed by the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), a global Hindu socio-spiritual organization. Under the divine inspiration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, thousands of skilled artisans and volunteers worked together to build this grand monument. The temple was inaugurated on 6 November 2005.
