Greenwood High School celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with immense devotion, spiritual fervor, and joy across the campus. The celebration brought together management, staff, and students to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the deity of wisdom and new beginnings.

The festivities commenced early in the morning at 8:00 AM with a traditional and grand Ganesha Pooja. Director Sri Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, along with school principals, teaching, and non-teaching staff members, performed the ceremonial rituals, offering special prayers, flowers, and prasadam before a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha.

Promoting Eco-Friendly Celebrations In alignment with the school’s commitment to environmental sustainability, students enthusiastically participated in an Eco-Friendly Clay Ganesha Workshop. Young Greenwoodians crafted their own clay idols of Lord Ganesha using natural clay, spreading a strong message about celebrating festivals in harmony with nature and protecting water bodies from pollution.

Cultural Program & Festivities Students presented devotional chants and songs reflecting the cultural significance of Ganesh Chaturthi. The interactive clay-making session allowed students to showcase their creativity while learning the traditional values associated with the festival.

The auspicious event concluded with the distribution of festive prasadam to all students, teaching, and non-teaching staff members.
