How Modern Progress Affects Art, Craft, and Human Creativity
From Greenwood High School – Hasanparthy, Hanumakonda
P. Taranya, a student of Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy, Hanumakonda, shared her thoughts on the topic “Technology and Its Unfair Advancements.”
She explained how modern technology, though highly advanced, has negatively impacted traditional art forms such as painting, drawing, and handcrafting. In earlier days, people expressed their creativity through manual effort and artistic skills, but now machines and digital tools have replaced much of that work. As a result, handcrafting, labor, and manpower have declined, reducing the value of human creativity in art and craft. Taranya encouraged everyone to balance technology with traditional skills to preserve the beauty of handmade art.
