Lord Krishna, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism, represents much more than divinity. He embodies friendship, wisdom, and the very essence of life’s profound philosophies. As we celebrate Krishnashtami, it’s important to reflect on how Krishna’s life and teachings continue to inspire and guide us.

Krishna’s life is a beautiful blend of divine playfulness and deep wisdom. From his childhood, he captivated hearts with his mischievous charm and loving nature. His friendships, particularly with Sudama and Arjuna, reveal the purest forms of bond and loyalty. Krishna’s friendship with Sudama is a timeless example of how true friends value each other beyond material wealth or social status. Despite being a king, Krishna welcomed Sudama, a poor Brahmin, with open arms and treated him with utmost respect. This story teaches us that true friendship is not defined by external appearances but by inner connection and mutual respect.

Krishna’s role as a philosopher is equally significant. The Bhagavad Gita, a dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, is one of the greatest philosophical texts. Through his teachings in the Gita, Krishna guides Arjuna to overcome his doubts and fears, offering profound insights into life, duty, and righteousness. He emphasizes the importance of selfless action, encouraging us to perform our duties without attachment to the outcomes. This principle of “Karma Yoga” is a cornerstone of Krishna’s philosophy, urging us to live with integrity and purpose.

78th Independence Day Celebrations @Abhyaas the global school

Today , we celebrated Our Nation’s 78th Independence Day with great  enthusiasm and pride

Welcome voice: Warm welcome was given to everyone present at the celebration, Special voice given to Principal, Vice Principal, Administrative Officer and Academic coordinator onto dais. Followed by Sanskrit Ganesh Slokam, Principal sir garlanded Great Freedom Fighters.

The unfurling of Patriotism:   Our Principal hoisted the flag, students sang the National Anthem with reverence. The sky was a brilliant blue, with just a few wispy clouds, as if echoing the tri-colour unfurled above. A gentle breeze carried the whispers of patriotism, as the Sun shone brightly casting a warm glow over the celebration.

Pride in Every Step: Students marched with precision and pride , their faces beaming with joy. March in unison, showcasing their discipline and team work. The march was lead by the school band. Our Principal took the salute and the students proudly displayed their marching skills, honoring the spirit of Independence.

Patriotic Pageant:    Was conducted in School Indoor stadium. Stadium was decorated by tri-colour balloons, school banner and colorful lights. Students showcased music, dance, speeches, freedom fashion.

Speeches:- were  thoughtful, thought-provoking  and they dress up as each in different freedom fighters like Courageous Rani Lakshmi Bhai roared the dialogue “Main Meri Jhansi Nahi Doongi” crowd of students also roared, same experience with Bhagat Singh who raised his voice with his gun in the air and said “Inquilab Zindabad”, Subhash Chandra Bose slogan “Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azaadi doonga”. Everyone experienced Goose bumps. Where real sense of courage and patriotism awoke. Tinytols dress up as Mahatma Gandhi, Indira  Gandhi,  Sarojini Naidu, Rudramadevi,  Jawaharlal Nehru,  Kamal Nehru, to our surprise we had seen Darupadi Murmu (present President of India).

Songs:- Melodiously sang in Telugu language by our students.

Dances:-    Patriotic dances were exhibited synchronism with the music and students steps. They were well dressed gave a mesmerizing feeling. Over all audience participation encourage clapping.

Vote  of Thanks: Given by Principal expressed heart felt gratitude to Teachers, Students, non Teaching staff and to present parents for their enlightening speeches, captivating performance and tireless efforts in making this event a resounding success also said sincere appreciation  to all with a Great round  of applause.

One of the key benefits of student cabinet elections is the opportunity to develop leadership and responsibility. Students running for positions such as president, vice-president, or secretary learn the value of fulfilling promises and representing their peers. By taking on leadership roles, students gain practical experience in organizing events, solving problems, and working collaboratively with others. These skills are valuable not only during their school years but also in future endeavors. Independence day celebrations in Greenwood Hunter Road

India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15th every year to mark the country’s freedom from 200 years of British rule in 1947. The day is a national holiday and is celebrated with parades, flag-hoisting ceremonies, speeches, and cultural events across the country.

The day was celebrated in Greenwood High School Hunter Road with great éclat. The school building was tastefully decorated with flower-pots, buntings, pictures of heroes of the freedom movement and national flags.

On this day the sense of happiness and pride can be clearly seen on the faces of all the students.

The D-Day had arrived.

NCC cadets welcomed our director Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu sir, General Manager A. Prabhu Kumar sir and Principal Manjula maam with a parade. All the dignitaries offered coconuts to the national leaders of our country followed by hoisting of flag by director sir. Each and every member present in school premises saluted the national flag and sang the national anthem.

“United we stand, as one India” Following this phrase the school staff and students came together to organize an exquisite event.

The students of Primary and High school gave informative speeches about the struggle and achievements of our country.

Little stars of Primary and talented champs of High school took over the stage with their melodious voice. They sang many patriotic songs igniting the feel of love towards the nation.

To show the love and patriotism towards the country, students of primary and high school performed dance on various songs like Indian patriotic mashup, Military scenes as well as pyramids.

Hamsika of class 10th had also taken this opportunity to show their support towards this Red Letter Day by playing the national anthem on the keyboard.

Greenwood High School Hunter Road had conducted literary events like Essay Writing, Singing, Elocution, Drawing, Story Telling competitions in school, prior to the event.

The winners of these competitions were awarded certificates and shields by our dignitaries.

NCC cadet’s were awarded by the our Director sir for their success after the 2nd year Camp who were guided by NCC guide Ms.R. Sajani.

Director sir gave a speech which motivated all the students to lead a good life.

With vote of thanks the event had come to an end.

Overall, it was a fun filled learning and enjoyable day for the tiny tots.

Bonalu Celebrations at Greenwood High School, Mancherial

The Bonalu festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor at Greenwood High School, Mancherial. Under the esteemed guidance of our respected Principal, Mr. Chandramohan, and Vice Principal, Mr. Tirupati, the event was a vibrant showcase of tradition and unity.

The celebration began with our anchors, J. Unnati and M. Nithya from 7th Satish Dhawan, warmly welcoming everyone. The arrival of female teachers carrying the traditional Bonalu, accompanied by the Potharajulu, set the festive mood. This was followed by the Jyoti Prajwalana ceremony, where offerings of flowers, coconut, 🥥and Bonam were made to Ammavari Mahankali.

The event featured a variety of performances, starting with a captivating dance by M. Shanvika of grade 5 to the song “Adigo Alladigo.” Respected Telugu Sir, Mr. Venkateswarlu, then delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the cultural significance of Bonalu.

Following this, grade 6 children delighted the audience with their energetic dance performance, and grade 7 students continued the momentum with another lively dance. Vishnu Sai Varma of 7th Satish Dhawan then took the stage to deliver an insightful speech, adding a thoughtful touch to the celebrations.

The festivities continued with an engaging dance performance by 8th-grade students. Another inspiring speech was given by respected Telugu Sir, Mr. Mahendar highlighting the importance of preserving our cultural heritage. The event culminated with a dynamic dance by the 9th-grade girls and boys.

A special photo session was held featuring our tiny tots dressed as Potharajulu and Goddess Mahankali, capturing the essence of the festival in its purest form.

Vice principal sir Mr.Tirupathi shared his knowledge about Bonalu and a few guidelines about academics and importance of discipline .

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, rendered to the management, principal, vice principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, and parents for their unwavering support in making the event a grand success.

From Ballot Boxes to Victory: The Greenwood Head Boy and Head Girl Election Results

The counting of votes represents the final phase of any election process, and the Greenwood Head Boy and Head Girl Elections 2024-25 were no exception. After students, staff, and faculty cast their votes on Election Day, July 8, 2024, anticipation filled the air as everyone awaited the results.

Counting Process

  • Date and Preparations: Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, our Director and Chief Election Commissioner, scheduled the counting for July 10, 2024. A dedicated counting center was established within the school premises.
  • Counting Officers: Teachers served as counting officers, adhering to procedures aligned with the directives. Returning Officer Sri. Satheesan Achari oversaw the entire process, with candidates and their agents present.
  • Ceremonial Procession: A ceremonial procession brought sealed ballot boxes from a secure location to the counting hall. Director and Chief Election Commissioner Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, Chief Intelligence Officer Sri. A. Prabhu Kumar, Principal Secretaries Sri. V.V.V Naveen Kumar, Sri. T. Pavan Kumar, Sri. V. Suresh Kumar (Chief Observer), Smt. P. Kanthi (Observer) Election Commissioners, Presiding Officers, Observers, Chief Security Officers, and the contested candidates.
  • Votes Organized: At separate counting tables for boys and girls, the sealed ballot boxes were opened, and votes were organized into bundles of fifty. A total of 1489 votes were cast, including staff votes (1058 boys’ votes and 431 girls’ votes).

Student Council Elections @Greenwood High School: A Manifestation of Democracy!

Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy, has a long-standing tradition of conducting elections for the positions of Head Boy and Head Girl. This practice aligns with CBSE recommendations and provides students with a firsthand experience of democratic principles. The academic year 2024-25 witnessed another successful exercise in democracy.

Election Process

Announcement: On July 1, 2024, Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, the School Director, officially announced the Student Council Election during a special Monday assembly. A team was assigned to ensure a free and fair election.

Nomination Phase: Interested 10th-grade students submitted nominations, resulting in 32 girls and 50 boys participating. A panel of teachers meticulously scrutinized all nominations.

Screening Tests: The process began with Screening Test – 1 (Written Test) on July 1, 2024. Eight girls and Eight boys were shortlisted for the next phase. Screening Test – 2 (Group Discussion) followed on July 3, 2024, determining the final contestants.

Final Candidates: After thorough scrutiny, four boys and four girls were accepted as candidates. Eventually, two boys and two girls remained in the race after others withdrew their nominations.

On July 5, 2024, during the School Assembly, the principal Sri. VVV. Naveen Kumar introduced the final candidates and their election symbols to all students.

Polling Booths and Voting Process: Five polling booths were set up, manned by officials and agents representing the candidates.

Polling began at 09:30 a.m., supervised by NCC cadets and observers. The peaceful process concluded at 3:00 p.m., with sealed ballot boxes moved to the school strong room.

The news of The Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy’s Student Council Election for Head Girl and Head Boy 2024-25 was announced by School Director Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu on 01-07-2024 in the school Special Monday Assembly.

The Interested Students of class 10 were asked to enroll their names as nominees. Initially, 32 Girls and 50 boys enrolled their names as nominees.

In the process of selection of final contestants for the elections, firstly Screening Test – 1 was conducted for all the enrolled students on 01-07-2024 in the First phase of scrutiny. Screening Test -1 was a written test. 8 Girls and 8 boys were selected for Screening Test – 2.

Student Cabinet Elections 2024-25 @Hunter Road, Warangal

“Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world.”

Every year in Greenwood High School, Hunter Road, cabinet elections take place to teach the students how important a vote is to elect a representative. The objective of appointing the Student’ Council is to provide a platform to the students to develop leadership qualities by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. 

In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the Student’ Council is the voice of the student body.  They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.

The nominees of  high school as well as primary  started their campaign on 28th June by appealing with their logo and manifesto to the teachers and students. 

Greenwood High School, Hunter Road has conducted school cabinet elections on 29th June 2024 for high school and on 1st July 2024 for primary students. It was a memorable day for the Greenwoodians as they  have coasted their precious votes which will determine the student representative for the upcoming academic year. 

NCC cadets of our school welcomed our honourable Director Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu sir by starting a march past  to show gratitude towards the ceremony.

The ceremony began with our beloved director sir interacting with the contestants and then casting the first vote followed by our General Manager Prabhu Kumar sir, Principal Manjula mam, ACOs, Srikanth sir, Harshavardhan sir and Sailaja mam.

Finally the voting had begun by the seniors of our school, as they assembled in the assembly hall for casting their votes, followed by the gems of classes 6th – 10thand concluding the voting with the little stars of classes 3rd to 5thwho were eager to elect their representative. The teaching and non teaching staff of the school also played their vital part in selecting the leader.

The results are much awaited by the school.

Greenwood High School Honors Student Achievements and Announces New Initiatives

The Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy gathered,in a special assembly on 1st July,2024 to celebrate the achievements of students and to mark significant announcements by the school Director, Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu. The assembly was noted by the hoisting of the national flag by Director sir, followed by a prize distribution ceremony and an important address to the students.

Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu distributed prizes to the winners of the recently held Maths Surprise Test – 2 and Brain Hunt– 2 competitions. The winners were applauded for their outstanding performances and were encouraged to continue striving for excellence in their academic pursuits.

Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu’s speech emphasized the importance of good leadership, linking it to the upcoming Student Council elections. He encouraged students to participate actively and to elect leaders who embody the values and vision of the school.

In addition to the announcement about the Student Council elections, Director sir highlighted the significance of Doctor’s Day. He spoke about the invaluable contributions of doctors to society, especially in light of recent global health challenges. He encouraged students to recognize and appreciate the dedication and hard work of medical professionals. He also emphasized about the need for the students to focus on entering into research field and to pave ways for many inventions which will be beneficial to mankind as our lives as humans on earth are so precious.

The assembly concluded on a high note, with students feeling motivated and inspired by Director sir’s words. The day marked a significant moment in the school calendar, fostering a sense of community, achievement, and forward-thinking among students and staff.

All the students and staff felt thankful to Sri.Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu for his insightful address and for inspiring the students to aim for excellence both in leadership and academics.

World Environment Day serves as a reminder of our responsibility to protect the planet and ensures that environmental issues remain a priority on the global agenda.

Greenwood High School celebrated Environment Day on 29th June,24 with enthusiastic participation from students in nursery through class 7. The event aimed to educate the students on the importance of the environment.

Activities included hand print art and coloring projects focused on themes such as “Save Trees.” Even the teachers joined in, adding their hand prints as a memorable keepsake of the celebration.
