The Master of Ceremony skillfully guided the proceedings, ensuring a seamless flow of events throughout the ceremony. The event commenced with the warm welcome extended to the esteemed guests, setting the tone for the evening’s festivities.

The traditional lighting of the lamp symbolized the illumination of knowledge and wisdom, signifying the enlightening journey undertaken by the graduating students.Prayer was sung by Mrs. Prabha.

The welcome speech, delivered eloquently by young Viraj from Class 1, exuded warmth and hospitality, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the school community.

Mr. T. Pavan Kumar, General Manager and esteemed Chief Guest, shared insights on innovation and introduced new educational initiatives, including the implementation of an FM radio during lunch breaks and the introduction of phonics to foster creativity and innovation among students.He witnessed all the performances and congratulated them for their extraordinary performances. Greenwood High School, Hunter Road got yet another achievement. In the presence of our beloved Principal Manjula Maam, Vice Principal Mahender Sir and ACOs Harshavardhan and Srikanth sir, 2 NCC Permanent Instructors Ajit Kadam and Nikesh visited our school to acknowledge our NCC cadets. 

39 students of our school have completed the 2 year NCC course under the  guidance of Ms. Sajani  and were presented with their final certificate acknowledging their effort and commitment towards the position, in the year 2023-24.

All the cadets are highly trained and fit in every aspects.

We thank the management for giving the children such exposure to such activities and encouraging them throughout.

On 15th April 2024, Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy held its Prize Distribution Ceremony during a special assembly. It was a big celebration, honoring students from 4th to 9th grade who did well in academics and different competitions.

The event started with a warm welcome to our esteemed chief guest Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu including Academic Principal Mr. V. V. V. Naveen Kumar, Administrative Principal Mr. T. Pavan Kumar and Vice Principal Mr. V. Suresh Kumar. Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, the Director of Greenwood Group of Schools, was the chief guest who handed out prizes to the young achievers.

Students were recognized for their achievements in competitions like Maths Surprise Test 14 & 15, Brain Hunt – 11 to 16, English Spell Combat – 4, Periodic Test-4 and Summative Assessment-2 . They also celebrated success in Art and Craft event like Live Pencil Sketch and the notable achievements in games & sports like 45th Telangana State Level Junior Boys Inter District Handball Championship-2024, Chess Tournament and 8th T-10 Overarm Cricket Sub junior &Senior National Championship.

The ceremony was a special occasion where students and teachers united to celebrate the dedication and achievements of our young scholars. Each winner was cheered on stage by their friends and teachers, with beaming smiles all around. They proudly accepted their certificates, prizes, and badges. To cherish these moments forever, there was also a special photo session with the chief guest and other important guests, capturing the memories for the future.

Cash Prize for Periodic Test-4 Toppers and Summative Assessment – 2 Topper : Outstanding students from grades 4th to 8th, who secured the first Rank in Periodic Test 4, and student of Class IX who secured first rank in Summative Assessment – 2 were awarded a cash prize worth Rs. 500/- and a Medal of Excellence. This prestigious honor was given by Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, the esteemed school director. Here’s the list of our top achievers.

Chess Tournament Prize Winner : M. Surya Teja of Class VIII Satish Dhawan secured 8 points out of 5 rounds and placed II in Warangal District Ranking Chess Tournament – 2024, organised by Warangal District Chess Association on 17th March, 2024.

Packed with excitement and curiosity, students eagerly boarded the buses, ready to explore the agricultural wonders that lay ahead.

The day kicked off with informative sessions, students gained insights into various farming techniques, crop cycles, and the challenges faced by the farming community.

From sowing seeds to harvesting crops, they actively participated in hands-on activities, fostering a deep connection with the agricultural process.

A highlight of the trip was the farm-to-table experience, where students were involved in sowing seeds.They gained a profound understanding of the journey from the field to the kitchen, emphasizing the importance of sustainable and locally sourced produce.

Conduct of ” A ” certificate Exam 2024 at LB college Warangal.

The NCC troops of the school had their A certificate exam conducted on 20th and 21st of January 2024. The A certificate exam is the first level of the NCC certificate exams others being the B and C certificate ones.

The A certificate exam is for the school level students who have taken two years of NCC training, as a part of which they do attend a camp for 10 days to know about the Regimental way of life.

The A certificate has great priority for selections in academic pursuits of Medical and Engineering streams as it provides a 5 percent reservation for the cadets.

This year the school had 86 cadets appeared for the exam. The number of girls being 27 and that of Boys being 59.

On the first day, the cadets faced drill test, Map reading test, Field craft, battle craft and weapon training practicals.

On the second day they faced the written test covering a wide range of topics both in military as well as common subjects.

The cadets were motivated to be disciplined and take up the exam quite seriously. The ANO First Officer Sri. S. Radha Krishnan felt that most of them need to choose an army life and be good army officers of the future.

The Officer Cadet Sri. M. Ramakrishna felt the cadets need to take the opportunity well and prove their mettle in the future life.

The cadets were appreciated by the Commanding officer Col. Ajayanand Khandhuri of the 10(T)Bn.NCC.Warangal.

The academic and the administrative principals Mr. V.V.V. Naveen Kumar and Mr. T. Pavan Kumar appreciated the cadets commitment towards getting trained in an army oriented atmosphere.

The Director Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu felt that these cadets should be a role model of the future and be good leaders in the spheres of life they choose to lead.
