Attending school every day might seem like a tedious routine, but it is super important. Student absenteeism, which means missing school without a valid reason, can lead to serious problems. First, the students miss out on learning new things and getting good grades.
Teachers explain lessons, and classmates discuss ideas – if they are not there, they lose out!
Second, friends help their peers grow, and if one absents a lot, he / she might miss making great friends. Social skills are important for life, and school is a place to practice them.
When they are not there, they miss chances to learn teamwork and communication.
Third, school prepares the students for the future. Jobs need people who are responsible and punctual. If the students miss school, they might get used to being lazy and late.
This could hurt them later on when they are trying to find a job or succeed in college.
In conclusion, skipping school might seem cool, but it’s not. Students miss learning, friendship, and important life skills.
It is our collective responsibility to see that every child is present and engaged, so that they can have a brighter future.
There is no friend as loyal as a book. Books serve us great knowledge To speak on the topic Books Are Our Best-friends here we have Sri Medha of class 8th Newton.

Parents play a pivotal role in shaping the character and moral compass of their children. From the earliest stages of development, parents serve as role models and guides, instilling values, beliefs, and behaviors that lay the foundation for a child’s character.
First and foremost, parents model behaviors and attitudes that children observe and emulate. Children learn empathy, kindness, honesty, and resilience by observing how their parents interact with others and handle challenges. Parents who demonstrate respect for others and show compassion create an environment conducive to character development.
Furthermore, communication is vital in character building. Open and meaningful conversations between parents and children allow for discussions on ethical dilemmas, decision-making, and personal values. Parents can encourage critical thinking and empathy by engaging in these discussions and fostering a safe space for their children to express their thoughts.
Discipline and boundaries also contribute to character formation. Consistent and fair discipline teaches children about responsibility, accountability, and the consequences of their actions. Setting boundaries helps children understand the importance of respecting rules and the rights of others.
Additionally, parents can expose their children to diverse experiences and perspectives, broadening their horizons and promoting tolerance and understanding. Encouraging involvement in community service or volunteering cultivates a sense of social responsibility and compassion for others.
Thus, parents are the primary architects of their children’s character. Through their words, actions, guidance, and support, parents mold the moral and ethical framework that shapes the individuals their children become. It is a profound responsibility that, when undertaken thoughtfully and consistently, contributes to the betterment of both the child and society at large.

Extreme climatic conditions have become common these days, whether it is for the global warming or the climate change crisis. For the last few years, our state has been witnessing excessive rains during the rainy season. So much so that the preparedness of the government or individuals seem to be inadequate howsoever carefully planned.
Rainy season opens a plethora of health issues, particularly for children and elderly. The dampening weather would readily aid the bacteria and germs to thrive and cold, cough and fever are commonly noticed in children. Besides, the dangers of drains and flooding water make young children particularly vulnerable. It’s high time parents take extra precautions to ensure their children are safeguarded from the seasonal change flus and other dangers.
Best practices to ensure a child safety include: not allowing them to venture out during the rain or immediately after the rain. Familiarizing the children with the cross paths and manholes with in the vicinity of your home would be a better idea.
One major source of infections during the season is contaminated food and water. The climate is so pleasant that everyone would be tempted to eat and drink warm foods and beverages. But avoiding any sort of eating out, roadside foods particularly, is in the best interest of your child.
Also, maintaining a good hygiene at the home and washing hands frequently, one can keep the illness away. Eating wholesome, sumptuous homecooked meals and drinking plenty of water to keep oneself hydrated is important in all seasons.
