LIVE PENCIL SKETCH by Greenwoodians @ Thousand Pillar Temple, Hanamkonda.

Erragattugutta @ Greenwood Group of Schools :

We, at Greenwood High School, see drawing as one of the most fundamentals of every skill in life. Vincent Van Gogh rightly said “Drawing is the root of everything.” We believe drawing makes children more expressive. It enhances child’s motor skills. Drawing develops kid’s problem-solving skills. It lets children’s imagination run wild!

In order to manifest the skills that they have learnt to do amazing drawings with a pencil at school, 25 students of Greenwood High school, Erragattugutta Branch took part in Live Pencil Drawing Event on 31 October, 2022 between 9:00am and 12:30pm at the historic Hindu 1000 Pillar temple located in the town of Hanamkonda which is the epitome of architectural skills of the ancient Kakatiyas

The Temple of Thousand Pillars stood as the model for the school young artists to draw its picture live. All the girl participants choose one place and boy participants settled in another place where they could have better view of the temple for their live drawing . All the participants were very excited to participate in this event and showcased their pencil drawing skills.

They we accompanied and guided by the two art teachers of the school Ms. Banaja Sahoo and Mr. G. Santosh Rao. All the participants are well appreciated by the School Director Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, Academic Principal Sri. V.V.V. Naveen Kumar and Administrative Principal Sri. T. Pavan Kumar.
