On 19th September, Greenwood High School celebrated Pre-Bathukamma in a vibrant and traditional manner. The campus came alive with colors as students dressed in festive attire, and along with the girls, even the boys actively participated—some carrying beautifully decorated Bathukammas.




Every child joined the celebrations with great enthusiasm, while the teachers also contributed by preparing Bathukammas and celebrating the festival of flowers together. The beautifully adorned Bathukammas, decorated with bright blossoms, created a delightful festive atmosphere across the campus.




The celebration was graced by the presence of esteemed guests:
- Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, Director of the School, who highlighted the cultural significance of Bathukamma.
- Mrs. Jyothi Ma’am and Mrs. Jahnavi, our special guests, who spoke about the importance of the nine days of Bathukamma and the role of flowers in the festival.
- Mr. Prabhu Kumar, General Manager, who inaugurated the event by lighting the diyas and conveyed his warm wishes for a Happy Bathukamma.
- Ms. Kavita Chawla, Principal of Greenwood High School, who guided and encouraged the students to uphold the values of tradition and culture.








The gracious presence of Mrs. Jahnavi added a special charm to the festivities, making the occasion even more memorable.




The event truly reflected the essence of Telangana’s rich culture, filling the school with joy, energy, and festive spirit.
