Over a period of time, some things will drop out of the public eye and vanish. But, Science, engineering, and technology will be with mankind till the end of the world. And the base is Mathematics.

Abhyaas the global school leaves no stone unturned in the quest for talented kids who may God willing bring laurels to our country. Keeping this in mind the Department of Mathematics has organized ‘Qubi Quest’.

Experience says learning mathematics can be made easier and enjoyable if our curriculum includes mathematical activities and games. Mathematics Quiz encourages, attracts, alerts and brings in an open-minded attitude among youngsters which helps them to develop clarity in thinking.

Mathematics quiz is a brief assessment used in education to measure growth in terms of knowledge, abilities and skills. It helps to enhance the interest among the students towards the subject and also creates a conductive environment to work in groups outside the classroom.

A little competition can inspire students to greater achievements. It challenges students to use their math skills in new and creative ways. It also provides challenging and engaging mathematical experience, both competitive and educational.

As a part of extended learning of Mathematics, “ Qubi Quest “was conducted in ABHYAAS The Global School. Students from across the 4 houses participated in this Quiz competition.

There were three levels, students who qualified in level 1, were selected to level 2 and level 3. There were three rounds in each level. The Main objective of the quiz was to encourage children to look beyond their textual knowledge and relieve the tension of their daily work routine. Children had a good team spirit wherein “small to big” all students were busy and giving tough fight to make their team win.

After a tough fight, the positions bagged by the 4 different HOUSES are as followed:

From Seniors category, Rishith and Badri, won the TROPHY for Emerald House.

From Super-Seniors category, Ameema Meher and Siddharth Varma of Ruby house snatched the TROPHY in a nail biting competition.

The Sub-juniors category involved little mathematicians; Ajit and Harshith have won the TROPHY for Ruby House.

From the Juniors category, Vyshnavi and Shanmukh have won the TROPHY for Diamond House.
