A Tribute to the Constitution: A Festive and Informative Celebration of Constitution Day @ Greenwood, Hasanparthy


Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy, organized a grand celebration of Constitution Day, On 26 November, 2023, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India. The event was held at the scenic campus of the school, which added to the beauty and solemnity of the occasion. The event was organized and hosted by the Social Teachers, who smoothly navigated the audience through the various segments of the program.

Pledge (Preamble of the Constitution): The event began with a symbolic gesture, as the participants recited the pledge, reaffirming their commitment to the values and principles of the Constitution in the morning regular school assembly.

Prayer Song: A grand celebration of Constitution Day was set out with the melodious and soothing prayer song that set the mood for the event, creating a sense of reverence and gratitude among the audience in a special gathering in the evening.

Introduction to the Event by Mr. Sateeshan Achari and Mr. Ranjit Behara : Mr. Sateeshan Achari, the coordinator of the event, gave a brief introduction, explaining the purpose and importance of Constitution Day and its relevance for the school community. Mr. Ranjit Behara highlighted about our Constitution which is world’s second longest active constitution.

Welcome to the Chief Guest – Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu and other guests: A cordial and respectful welcome was given to the distinguished Chief Guest, Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu – acknowledging his presence and honouring his achievements, and other guests Greenwood General Manager – Sri. A. Prabhu Kumar sir, Academic Principal – Sri. V.V.V. Naveen Kumar sir, Administrative Principal – Sri. T. Pavan Kumar sir, and Vice Principal – V. Suresh Kumar sir.

Speech by Chief Guest: Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu gave an inspiring speech, illuminating the relevance and influence of the Constitution in the contemporary society.

Dance Performances:The cultural performances, featuring enchanting dances, added a colorful and lively element to the celebration.

Skit Performances:

Skit-1: Haasitha Sharon & Team (VIII-Kalam) presented an intriguing skit, captivating the audience with a gripping story line.

Skit-2: Right Against Exploitation: Vignesh & Group (IX-Vikram Sarabhai) raised awareness about constitutional rights through a stimulating skit, stressing the importance of resisting exploitation.

Skit-3: P. Ram Rithik of Class VI & Group presented an amusing skit, demonstrating their creativity and comprehension of constitutional values.

Skit-4 -The Story of B. R. Ambedkar by M. Sai Charan Teja: A special skit dedicated to the life and contributions of B. R. Ambedkar, providing a deeper insight into the historical significance of this iconic figure.







Vote of Thanks and Conclusion: The event was concluded with a sincere vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, guests, and attendees who contributed to the success of the event.

The event was anchored by Ch. Aapthika and R. Alekhya of 10th Satish Dhawan, two talented students who kept the audience entertained and informed throughout the program.



Their charisma and expertise enhanced the quality and impact of the celebration, which showcased the historical and contemporary significance of the Constitution.

The Constitution Day celebration at Greenwood High School was a remarkable event organised by Social Department Teachers, that showcased the harmony of values among the students, staff, and guests.
