Greenwood High School, Gopalpur, Hanumankonda celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2023 to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir CV. Raman for which he received a Nobel prize in 1930 in the field of physics.
Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman is one of the prominent figures in science and technology. The theme for NSD of the year 2023 ‘Global Science for Global Wellbeing’.

GREENWOOD Staff has paid floral tributes to Sir CV. Raman portrait during the morning assembly in the school ground. We conducted quizzes during class hours. The students have presented their projects and explained in assembly.
To enable the students to know about the latest developments in the fields of science and technology Students were shown the videos of the Scientific documentaries of a Satellite launch by ISRO, class wise.
