On 17th of December 2022, Greenwood High School ,hunter road organized an event “SCIENCE CLUB ACTIVITY 2022”
‘Science is a key subject for children to learn about as they grow up”. Science encourages types of learning such as critical thinking and problem solving which will be applicable in the rest of their lives in and out of the classroom

It also allows students to work together in groups and learn from each other. It is a platform where students can showcase how much they have understood the different concepts of science. It also helps to build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among students.
Science club will be a valuable aid to teaching science and also a means of motivating the children for learn science .The aim of the event was to elaborate on the importance of science in our life. Students performed different skits , dances and sang songs based on Internal and External body organs, Germination of Seeds, Good Habits and Bad Habits ,Health and Hygiene , Junk food and Healthy food. The Science Event was a huge success. The Function not only gave wings to the curious minds of the students but also teachers seemed to enjoy the activities performed by the students.
It was a good attempt to involve the students in their day to day activities linking with science.
