Children’s Day celebration 2k22 @Greenwood Hunter Road

Greenwood Group of Schools @ Hunter Road :

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru.

The day focused on children and their enjoyment. Greenwood High School Hunter Road celebrated children’s day with a lot fun and enthusiasm. Students of class 6th– 8th gathered in the ground to celebrate the event. The program started with an informative speech given on Cha-cha Nehru by Manure of class 8. Followed by an amazing song and dance performance by children of class 6 to 8.

Students of different class and section came together to perform and make this day more memorable for all of us. Students did group dance and singing performances on songs like Pranavalaya and Gananayaka.

Speech on ‘Emergence of Children’s Day’ was brought into light by Ayush a student of class 8th. . Followed by a very informative speech about the ‘value of children in world’ by Vyshnavi of class 8th

Boys and girls showed lavishing dance performances on song Morini Banke and Jamiki Kamal. The audience was very supportive and showed great energy as the event was going on. Children were Happy Go Lucky throughout the event.

Students also showed their melodious voices by singing Evaru Rayagalaru and Hey Keshava. 

Teacher’s  played their important role on this day by guiding the  students to prepare  various skits in Telugu, Hindi and English. The skits were funny, informative and also beautiful which brought a little theatre to life of Greenwood. 

The event stepped to the finale performance as students performed Dhol Baje which hyped everyone present in  the event. 

Words of appreciation were given by Principal maam. She encouraged all the students for their amazing performances that made this day successful , she also appreciated all the staff present. With her loving words the gathering had dispersed and the day came to an end.
