On 4th of November 2022, Greenwood high school hunter road organized an event “SCIENCE CLUB ACTIVITY 2022”

Science‘is simply the word we use to describe a method of organizing our curiosity. Science provides a platform for the students to use their scientific knowledge and bring the best invention from their brains. It also allows students to work together in groups and learn from each other.

They share their ideas and collectively galvanize those ideas to bring something innovative into implementation.  The main reason behind organizing such science experiments is to provide a platform to students where they can implement the various scientific theories/methods through various projects/models. It is a platform where students can showcase how much they have understood the different scientific theories through their projects/models.

It also helps to build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among students. The aim of the event was to elaborate on the importance of science in our life. Students presented their wonder science projects according to their interests and skills. There were special activities performed by the students. All the students were so excited, especially those who want to choose science as their career.

The Science Event was a huge success. The Function not only gave wings to the curious minds of the students but also the adults and teachers seemed to enjoy the display of the plethora of scientific advances presented by the students. Such Events are of utmost necessity for the students as they get to explore their full potential and also get a stage to present their ideas.

Hunter Road @ Greenwood Group of Schools :

“The colour of love and smiles  illuminates the air with energy, vigour and exuberance…..”

‘Red’ colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with the colour red every- where red dress, red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red cherries, here a red… there a red….. red red everywhere ..our little ones spent a spectacular red day.

The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. The young ones sang Red Day song ‘My red balloon….’ ‘Apples are red… Roses are red…. I love red…red, red, red…’

Some of the students spoke a few sentences on the red object they brought from home.

Principal Ms.Mamjula Devi  had an eventful interactive session with students providing them with a deep insight about the purpose of such celebrations.

In the class rooms children  have palm printing, collage work ,colouring  activity. Everyone enjoyed colouring , collage work  and printing their own hands

Colours  are indeed the smiles of nature….. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours there by reinforcing cognitive skills.

It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.

POT LUCK LUNCH -“Snehaniki kotha chirunama”

Abhyaas The Global School @ Bhimavaram :

On the occasion of ‘Garden Party‘ as it is ‘Karthika Masam‘ Abhyaas the global school came up with an innovative idea.

Children across the grades were informed that their lunch boxes would not be relished by them as usual, but by their lucky schoolmates as the lunch boxes would be distributed randomly to the children.

It also meant that they too would be eating lip-smacking food prepared by somebody else’s loving mother. This thought drove the children to get their favorite food prepared by their mothers.

The children in a festive mood fed food to each other and to their favourite teachers sitting on lush green meadows and under shady trees.
Next, they rocked the ground by shaking a leg to their favourite songs. Both dancers and spectators enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

At one point, a sudden, envigourating breeze dispersed leaves from nearby trees on the dancers and spectators so much that students were commenting that nature too was enjoying itself. But the fun didn’t end there because the sprawling grounds were inviting the children to play games of their choice, with friends of their choice irrespective of age or gender.

The hidden motive behind organizing this Pot Luck Lunch was to encourage and inculcate positive habits of sharing and caring for their fellow beings, crossing man-made barriers of religion, caste, gender, age and status. The facial expressions and undiluted joy gave evidence to the fact that the “Pot Luck Lunch” was a grand success with a great motive.
