Greenwood High School Mancherial Students’ Visit to Ramoji Film City


On the night of March 1st, 2024, the students of Greenwood High School Mancherial embarked on an exciting journey to Ramoji Film City. The buses departed, filled with anticipation and excitement, and after a few hours of travel, they arrived at their destination bright and early, at 4:45 am.

As the sun began to rise, the students eagerly explored the vast expanse of Ramoji Film City. They visited various iconic sites, soaking in the magic of the film industry. From picturesque sets to elaborate studios, like Movie 🎥 magic,Thrillville , Wings of time,Wild West show and butterfly 🦋 🦋 park
every corner had a story to tell.



And that’s fantastic news! Congratulations to Deekshitha from 7th IIT for receiving a 🏅prize from Ramoji Film City for her dance performance. 💃It must be quite an achievement for her!

The highlight of the visit was the exhilarating rides and the fun-filled rain dance. Laughter filled the air as students enjoyed the adrenaline rush of the rides and 💃danced away under the artificial rain.🌧️🌧️

National Science Day Celebrations at Greenwood High School, Mancherial Branch

The National Science Day celebrations at Greenwood High School, Mancherial Branch kicked off with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming esteemed dignitaries and guests to explore the exhibits showcasing the wonders of science.

The event was meticulously organized under the guidance of Principal Mr Chandra Mohan and ACO Mrs. Fareeda Somani to the science department Mr. Rajesh Khanna Mr. Venkatesh,Mr. Balakrishnan, Mrs. Sheetal,Mrs. Meera Mrs. Niharika Ms.Shaheen,Ms Tejaswi.

The afternoon session was expertly anchored by Vinuthna and Sai Charan of 5 th Rose 🌹guiding the audience through a series of engaging and enlightening activities.

Importance of Science: Sri Sahasra from 5 th Rose 🌹delivered a compelling speech on the significance of science, emphasizing its crucial role in shaping our world and addressing contemporary challenges. Primary students from 5th class took the stage to perform a skit to express their perspectives on the advantages and disadvantages of technology, showcasing their insights under the coordination of Mrs.Meera.

Principal Mr. Chandramohan delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to the organizing committee and highlighting the importance of fostering a love for science among students.

Greenwood High School in Mancherial celebrated Republic Day 🇮🇳🇮🇳with grandeur and patriotic fervor under the insightful guidance of Principal Mr. Chandramohan, administrative support from Mr. Ayub Baig, and ACO Mrs. Fareeda Somani.

The event commenced with an impressive national leaders’ parade, leading the dignitaries onto the stage. The school’s prayer party set the patriotic tone with a soul-stirring rendition of the national song, followed by a heartfelt offering of flowers to honor our national leaders.

Chief Guest, dignitaries, and attendees witnessed the proud moment of flag hoisting,🇮🇳🇮🇳 symbolizing the spirit of unity and freedom. The gathering then stood together for the national anthem. The program was anchored by A. Thanushree,A. SriSahasra from 5th Rose 🌹and M. Manihaasan from 7 th Sathish Dhawan. A series of speeches unfolded, with Mr. Chandramohan, Mr. Ayub, and Mrs. Fareeda Somani expressing their thoughts and insights. The primary section saw an eloquent speech by Nihan from 5th grade, accompanied by a classic welcome dance.


The cultural programs showcased the talents of the students, featuring a variety of performances such as a welfare dance, speeches by R. Tanmayi from 8 th Sathish Dhawan , Nihan from 5 th Lily O.Anurag from 4 Lily Hindi speevh and engaging speech in Telugu by Varshini and Kartika from 8th and 9th classes,



The secondary girls, displaying unity in diversity, presented a captivating dance performance, followed by the chief guest distributing prizes to winners of the spell bee,📝📝 drawing competition,🎨🎨 and elocution.🎤



Nehaswi from 5th grade continued the series of speeches in Telugu, and a group song by Aditi and her team added a melodic touch. Ravi Sir shared insights on social issues, complemented by a skit by the secondary students illustrating the representation of the Indian constitution.📓

Ruzula and group graced the stage with a vibrant group song, and Sushruta from 7th grade delivered an eloquent speech. The secondary boys concluded the cultural extravaganza with an energetic dance performance.

“Sankranti Celebrations” at Greenwood Mancherial

Greenwood High School Mancherial celebrated 🎋Makara Sankranthi 🎋🎋with enthusiasm and joy. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by dignataries Principal Mr. Chandramohan, admin Mr. Ayub Baig, and ACO Mrs. Fareeda Somani.

Anchors are Suprathik and samanvi from 5 to Lily . Lasya Priya and Unnathi from 6 to Grade.

The festive spirit continued with a delightful welcome dance by Manyatha from the 4th Rose. The entire school actively participated in a bonfire,🔥🔥 where students joyously circled and danced around the flames. Classes from nursery to grade 2 enjoyed Bommala koluvu and bhogipandlu festivities.

In the afternoon, girls showcased their artistic talents in a 🌈Rangoli🌈 competition, with judges Mr. Venkateswarlu and Mrs. Soujanya Latha overseeing the colorful creations. Simultaneously, the boys engaged in an exciting Kite 🪁 festival, with Mr. Mahendar and Mr. Venkatesh serving as judges.



Dignitaries took the stage to share the significance of Sankranthi, adding a cultural and educational touch to the celebration.



A. Sahasra from the 5th Rose delivered a speech . On National Youth Day, followed by a vibrant “Vivekananda Get Up” by Ayaantej and a profound speech about Swami Vivekananda by Araadhya from the 5th Lily.

School organised mehandi competitions to enlighten the students on the significance of festival.

Students from Grade 4th to 9th participated in the competitions to exhibit their creativity. They applied Henna on their classmates hands artistically.




This competition also had a motive to inculcate among the learners an interest in tradition and customs of India exhibited on various festive occasions.



Students performed beautifully Arabian, bridal, Arabic, indo Arabic style Henna.

The event kicked off with a delightful Santa parade featuring Santa and Angels, warmly welcoming esteemed dignitaries. The program was hosted by M.Advika,from 5 th 🌹Mokshith and K Chaitanya from 5 thLily.



Mahiruddin from 4th Rose 🌹 delivered a heartfelt speech, emphasizing the significance of Christmas and fostering a sense of unity among the attendees.

The primary children added a burst of energy with a vibrant dance performance, showcasing their enthusiasm for the festive season.

Following this, 7th Raman Siva Sai delivered an inspiring speech, further enriching the audience with insights into the essence of Christmas.

A captivating skit performed by the primary children depicted the birth of Jesus Christ, narrating the timeless tale in a way that captivated the hearts of the audience.

Greenwood High School in Mancherial celebrated Mathematics Day ➕➖➗✖️with fervor and zeal, guided by Principal Mr. Chandra Mohan and efficiently administered by Mr. Ayub Baig and ACO Mrs. Fareeda Somani.

The event’s success was attributed to the commendable coordination of math teachers, namely Mrs. Soujanya Latha, Mr. Ramesh, Mr. Ramakrishna, and Mrs. Saba Firdose.

The celebration encompassed a lively dance performance by grades 1 and 2, an inspiring speech by Sudiksha from 9th IIT, and an engaging dance by students from 2nd to 5th grade.

Adding a unique touch, students dressed up as renowned mathematicians, Prahasa as Nina Guptha, Sitara as Shakuntala Devi, Ayan Tez as Child Ramanujan, Shreyas as Srinivas Ramanujan, Rishi Varma as Aryabhatta breathing life into the subject.

A standout attraction was the extraordinary display of mathematical table recitation RRR Random Reversal Recitation, led by S. Thanushri of 8th IIT and K. Abhiram of 4th Lily. Additionally, a skit by 9th IIT girls eloquently conveyed the significance of mathematics in our lives.

Judges, including Mrs. Niharika, Mr. Rajesh Khanna, and Mr. Venkatesh, evaluated and selected the best contributions from both primary from 1st and 2nd classes V.Arjun Reddy, B. Saanvi grabbed prize and from secondary exhibits and in High School 6 th and 7 th classes first prize was grabbed by Madeeha Sadeem and Hanika and Amit chandra and Srithik Harsha and from and from 9th class Ist prize was bagged by B.Geethika, R.Amulya, B.Akshaya and the second prize was grabbed by K.Parichaya and U. Sirichandana with their innovative ideas. The event concluded with a felicitating the dedication of math teachers and mother teachers.

Following the introduction, the youngest minds took center stage with a delightful Dance about Shapes performed by the enthusiastic students of UKG. Their creative expressions showcased the fun side of learning fundamental mathematical concepts.

The celebration continued with a unique twist as students dressed as Prominent Mathematicians of India took the stage for Role Play Introductions. This not only added a historical touch but also brought to life the achievements and contributions of India’s mathematical luminaries.

The importance of mathematics was then highlighted through a captivating dance performance by students from classes 1, 2, and 3. The synchronization and enthusiasm displayed by these young performers conveyed a powerful message about the significance of mathematics in our daily lives.
