The bright Monday morning of October 27, 2025, at Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy, resonated with patriotic zeal and disciplined fervour as the students of Class IX – Hocking Section took charge of the Monday Special Assembly. The assembly, held under the inspiring theme “Every Citizen Must Act as a Soldier for the Welfare of the Country,” beautifully reflected the spirit of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) — unity, service, and selfless contribution to the nation.


Assembly: A Patriotic Prelude
The proceedings began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, Hon. Director of Greenwood Institutions, followed by the National Anthem, which filled the campus with patriotic pride. The students of Class IX – Hocking then conducted the assembly with remarkable confidence and coordination.


Their presentation seamlessly wove the NCC theme into each segment — from the Thought for the Day highlighting self-discipline and national duty, to News Headlines focusing on national achievements, and a Motivational Coversation reminding every student that serving the country begins with responsible citizenship. The well-coordinated performance inspired all present to uphold values of patriotism, unity, and service.
Recognition of Academic and Intellectual Excellence
The assembly continued with a vibrant Prize Distribution Ceremony, honouring students for their outstanding performances in various academic contests.

Greenwood Pride at State Level Goseva Exams – 2025
The celebration reached its peak as the school felicitated two extraordinary achievers who brought laurels to Greenwood at the State Level Goseva Exams – 2025, conducted by the Goseva Department of Telangana on October 26, 2025, at Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology, Narayanguda, Hyderabad.
Out of 2,200 participants from all districts of Telangana:
- TallapelliManitej (Class IX) secured the First Prize, winning a cash award of ₹1,00,000, a memento, and a merit certificate presented by Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Coal and Mines, and Shri Bandi Sanjay, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs.
- Bayana Ashrith Sagar (Class VI) received a Consolation Prize, with a cash award of ₹1,000, a memento, and a certificate from the honourable ministers.
To honour their success, both the winners were felicitated at Greenwood by Shri Challa Dharma Reddy and Dr. Girrem Bharadwaj Naidu, Directors of Greenwood High School, in the presence of General Manager Shri Prabhukumar, Principals Sri V.V.V. Naveen Kumar and Sri T. Pavan Kumar, Vice Principal Sri Suresh Kumar, Academic Coordinators, and teachers.
The Directors commended the students’ dedication and highlighted the multi-level structure of the Goseva competition — from School Level to District Level, culminating in the State Level where Greenwood students shone brightly.
Director’s Inspiring Address
Following the felicitation, Dr. Girrem Bharadwaj Naidu, Director, delivered an insightful and motivational address. Emphasizing the importance of self-discipline, he narrated an inspiring story of a young man who, inspired by his mother’s cooking while excelling in academics, later became a successful entrepreneur with an annual turnover of ₹2,500 crores.
Dr. Naidu urged students to balance academics with humility and family values, reminding them that true success is the result of the combined influence of teachers, parents, and personal determination. He specially appreciated Tallapelli Manitej and Bayana Ashrith Sagar for bringing national recognition to Greenwood through their exceptional achievements.

The morning Assembly concluded with National Anthem,displaying renewed patriotic spirit, echoing Greenwood’s ideals of discipline, unity, and excellence.
The Monday Special Assembly of 27th October 2025was a powerful reminder that at Greenwood, education extends beyond textbooks — it is about building character, leadership, and a sense of service to the nation, in true alignment with the NCC-inspired motto:“Every Citizen a Soldier.”
