Greenwood High School, Mancherial branch, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation with grandeur and patriotic fervour under the able guidance of Principal Mr. R. Chandramohan and Vice Principal Mr. G. Thirupathi. The day commenced at 8:00 a.m. with the ceremonial welcome of the dignitaries, marked by an impressive march past led by the schoolโs P.E.T., Mr. M. Sagar.


The programme began with a soul-stirring rendition of Vande Mataram by the school choir, followed by๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ณ the flag hoisting ceremony performed by the PrincipalMr. R. Chandramohan accompanied by the National Anthem sung in unison by all present. Principal Mr. R. Chandramohan then addressed the gathering, inspiring students with his words on the significance of freedom and the responsibility it brings.


๐ A special attraction of the day was the beautifully decorated dais, artistically designed by ๐จ๐จ๐จArt Teacher Mr. J. Suresh, which created an ambience of patriotism and elegance, drawing admiration from everyone present. ๐


The cultural segment opened with a graceful welcome dance by Harshika (Grade 2), followed by another enchanting welcome performance by
K. Deekshita (Grade 9).

The audience was then charmed by the tiny tots of Nursery, LKG, and UKG โ Arjun, Riyan, Rudransh, Vihan, Viyan, Virat, Nihan, Srihan, Shaanvi, Veeksha, and Dhrithisri โ trained by Mrs. Kavitha, Ms. Harika, and Mrs. Nithya Sri.


๐ค๐ค๐คA series of speeches in Telugu, delivered by O. Sri Vaishnavi (Grade 10), Varjith Chandra (Grade 5), Lalith Chandra (Grade 4), Ch. Rishitha (Grade 10), Ch. Nainika (Grade 8), V. Aadhyay (Grade 8), K. Himansh (Grade 4), Jashwika (Grade 3), and K. Sricharan (Grade 10), reflected patriotic pride and cultural richness, under the guidance of Mr. Mahendra, Mr. Venkateswarlu, Mrs. Meera, and Mrs. Sunitha.


The celebrations continued with a lively UKG dance, followed by a heartfelt patriotic song by Nehaswi ,Thanushri,Lineesha and SriNithya ๐ผ๐ผ.


๐ค๐คHindi speeches by Saloni Meena (Grade 10), Pranitha (Grade 6), Dhaatri Sahasra (Grade 3), Himashree (Grade 4), Anuradha (Grade 4), and Manisha (Grade 10), under the mentorship of Arif Sir and Munira Madam, added linguistic diversity to the occasion.
The cultural rhythm peaked with a traditional dance performance by Pranitha and Archita, guided by Lakshmi Devi Madam, and


๐ค๐ค๐ค English speeches by Arick (Grade 5), Veda Bhanu (Grade 4), Sushruchita (Grade 4), Ch. Harshini (Grade 6), and R. Sai Krithin (Grade 10), trained by Mrs. Sailaja, Mr. Anand, and Mrs. Lakshmi Devi.
Lezimi ๐ชEnergetic performances such as the Lezime display by Grade 7 girls Neha Swi, Lakshana, Dikshita, and Krishi Saheri under Mr. M. Sagar,


and a skit by Grade 7 boys Sahith and Aadvik, Karthikeya and Nethra Varma under Mr. Mahender , kept the audience engaged.
๐The patriotic spirit soared with a dance by Grade 8 girls โ Nainika,Anjali Meena ,Rishvitha Sai, Juveria Anum, Saharya, Vanushna, Lahari, and Aaradhya โ guided by Rajitha Madam,
followed by songs ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผby Tejaswi and O. Sri Vaishnavi (Grade 10), G. Ruzula, and Arif Sir.
๐ค๐คSpeeches by Rajitha Madam, Sridevi Madam, and Arif Sir, as well as ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผa patriotic song by O. Venkatesh (Chemistry Teacher), added depth to the celebrations.
A breathtaking pyramid formation by Grade 9 IIT boys โ Bhuvan Teja, Mani Hasan, J. Aniket, P. Aniket, Pratik Rao, Pawan Putra,Ashwadh Kumar ,Amit Chandra, and Rithvik,Surya Siddharth
once again under the guidance of Mr. M. Sagar, was met with loud applause.
๐The finale featured a dance by Grade 9 girls โ Ashwini Priya, Vaishnavi, Ruzula, Amukta, Dikshita, and Manisha, Harismitha,Anjani,
followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Tejaswi Madam (Social Science Teacher).
๐ The smooth execution of the event was a testament to the excellent coordination between the teaching and non-teaching staff, whose teamwork ensured a seamless and memorable celebration. ๐
The event concluded on a note of pride, unity, and renewed commitment to the ideals of our great nation.
