According to the Mahabharata, once when Lord Krishna was flying a kite, he cut his finger. Seeing this, Draupadi immediately tore a piece of cloth from her saree and tied it around his finger. Touched by her action, he promised to protect her. As we all know, he came through with that promise when her husbands lost in gambling in King Dhritrashtra’s court.

We celebrated the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan in our country, a festival that beautifully the bond of love and protection between siblings.

Our wonderful students celebrated Raksha Bandhan with joy, tying the threads of unity and respect. Their heartfelt gestures of tying Rakhis and sharing sweets were a beautiful reflection of the bonds they share with their teachers. Here’s to cherishing these moments of tradition and appreciation.

Raksha Bandhan-A beautiful bond of love,trust, and responsibility forever.’ Raksha Bandhan is a special occasion to celebrate the eternal and auspicious bond between brother and sister and the affection of the siblings in the family.

The main objective behind celebrating ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was to make the children aware of the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.

The greenwoodians were dressed in a festive look for the Raksha Bandhan celebration. The tiny tots, in traditional attires enthusiastically participated in tying rakhi on the wrist of their classmates, rakhi making, and coloring activities. The vibrant, colorful attires and innocent smiles brightened the ambiance of the classrooms.
