Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on August 16, 2025, with great fervour at Greenwood High School, Hasanparthy, where the campus turned festive with decorations, lights, and colourful pictures depicting the life of Lord Krishna. The celebration brought Festive Spirit on Campus.


Ceremonial Beginning
The programme began at 3 p.m. with a traditional pooja conducted by Mr. M. Ranga Rao, Mathematics teacher. The celebration was graced by the presence of Director Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu, Chief Administrative Officer Sri. A. Prabhu Kumar, Academic Principal Sri. V. V. V. Naveen Kumar, Administrative Principal Sri. T. Pavan Kumar, Vice Principal Sri V. SureshKumar, and Academic Coordinators Smt. P. Kanthi and Sri. T Phanindra, along with other invited guests.



Vibrant Performances
Students added charm to the occasion with dance performances dressed as gopikas, recreating the Vrindavan spirit.
Thrill of Dahi Handi
The highlight of the afternoon was the Dahi Handi, which drew cheers from the crowd as groups of students enthusiastically tried to break the pot of curd tied up high. Separate arrangements were made for juniors, seniors, boys, and girls, allowing everyone to take part. Live commentary by anchors ________ and _________added excitement and kept the audience engaged till evening.

Sweet Moments
The dignitaries later shared sweets and refreshments with staff and students, making the day even more memorable.
A Soulful Evening
In the evening, the school once again gathered for pooja, followed by a peaceful hour of bhajans led by Mr. J. Ramesh, Telugu teacher, in the open-air auditorium. The devotional singing filled the campus with a serene atmosphere, bringing the celebrations to a soulful close.
