As part of its continuous effort to provide enriching experiential learning opportunities, Greenwood High School, Hunter Road, organized an educational field visit to the Hanamkonda Post Office. The visit offered students firsthand exposure to the functioning of the postal system — an essential pillar of communication in our country.
Students explored key areas such as the mail dispatch unit, sorting section, customer service counters and the speed post division. Friendly staff members guided the children through each process, demonstrating how letters and parcels travel from the sender to the recipient.
The interactive session sparked curiosity among students and encouraged them to ask questions, making the experience both informative and enjoyable.
This visit successfully bridged classroom learning with practical understanding. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the school management and Hanumakonda Post Office team for their support and cooperation.
