Constitution day celebrations @ Greenwood hunter Road

Greenwood Group of Schools @ Hunter Road

To commemorate constitutional day, the management of greenwood high school, hunter road have organized a program in which students of 9th and 10th took a part.

Students have gathered at the assembly hall where informative posters of our constitution makers were displayed. They began with national song followed by pledge which showed their respect towards the nation. The program was initiated by garlanding the portrait of Dr B R Ambedkar by vice principal of the school, Mr. Mahendar sir. It was followed by floral tribute to the portrait by ACO, Srikanth sir.

Head girl and head boy of the school addressed the assembly and welcomed several speeches by the students. The students enlightened the gathering with informative speeches on history of the constitution and depicted the struggles behind the making of the constitution. They have also mentioned the fundamental rights and duties which are guaranteed by our constitution.

The students included Shruthika of class 10, Sanjana and Akshitha of class 9. Then the cultural secretary of the school organized an oath upon constitution. Everyone took the oath.

Then ACO Srikanth sir, in his addressing advised the gathering to abide by the constitution and its fundamental rights and duties.

The whole program was guided by the social department of the school.
