Rope jumping, or skipping, is not only a playground activity and exercise, but also a competitive sport. Rope jumping usually involves a single person or more, jumping over a rope that is being swung.

Skipping is great cardio, aerobic exercise. Skipping rope helps to tone your calves, tighten your core, build stamina and improve your lung capacity.

On the 11th and 12th of this month, Shaik Kashifa Sumanha, an all-rounder from Abhyaas the global school was selected for the national level rope skipping championship.

She made her school and parents proud by bagging 3 medals at state level championship in 3 events – a gold medal in the single jump,  a silver medal in the alternate and another silver medal in the double under events.

The State Level Rope Skipping Championship was conducted by RFSI at SCHBRM high school.

We wish her a glorious future in all that she aspires.
