Blue Skies, Brave Hearts – Air Force Day Celebrations

“Our sky is limitless, and so is the spirit of our guardians!”

Today, the students of Greenwood High School, Hunter Road, from Nursery to Grade 5, celebrated Indian Air Force Day with immense enthusiasm and patriotic pride.

The celebration began with an inspiring morning assembly, where students spoke about the significance of the Indian Air Force and paid heartfelt tribute to the brave air warriors who safeguard our nation’s skies.

Highlights of the Day:

  • Nursery to Grade 3: The young learners showcased a vibrant costume walk, dressed as courageous Air Force pilots. They also enjoyed creative paper plane activities, story sessions about Air Force heroes, and patriotic finger painting depicting airplanes, clouds, and the tricolor.

  • Grades 4 & 5: The senior primary students exhibited remarkable creativity and teamwork through poster-making on the theme “Guardians of the Sky” and paper airplane models. A fun-filled quiz on the Indian Air Force and role-play performances as pilots and engineers added energy and excitement to the celebration.

Our Respected Principal addressed the gathering, motivating students to dream big and serve the nation with dedication and courage, just like the heroes of the Indian Air Force.

The day truly stood as a tribute to the courage, commitment, and valor of the Indian Air Force — the true Guardians of the Sky!
