Celebrations of greenwoodians excellence @ erragattugutta

Erragattugutta @ Greenwood Group of Schools :

Today being Monday, we had a special Prayer Meeting (Assembly) in our school campus. As usual our beloved Director, Sri. Dr. G. Bharadwaja Naidu has graced this special occasion along with Sri V.V.V Naveen Kumar, the Academic Principal and Sri. T. Pavan Kumar , the Administrative Principal.
The National Flag was hoisted by our Director sir and the Prithvi House flag was hoisted by the mentor teachers and the captains of the Prithvi House, Mr. A. Sudeep and Ms. M. Sanjana.
Ch. Sai Manaswith and K. Asrith Patel of class 5 demonstrated a science experiment. Both the concept and the presentation were worth mentioning in our records. These two children exhibited confidence beyond their age and paved a road for others to follow.

A Clean House Promotes a Healthy Mind

Clean and tidy surroundings always create a healthy and happy atmosphere. And this healthy and happy atmosphere keeps the mind of the children very receptive and helps them prepare well to learn their lessons with ease and much comfort. We are aware of the fact that the both our Hostel Blocks (Girls and Boys) are divided into Dormitories. All the inmates of the Dormitories are guided by their Mentor Teachers, Wardens and Dormitory Captains. To encourage the spirit of responsibility of maintaining the Dormitories in a clean and tidy manner, the Best Dormitory Captain and the Best Dormitory Awards are initiated. These awards are given to the Captains and sweets are distributed among the inmates of the winning Dormitories. The winners of the accolades and prizes in this category for the month October-2022 are as follows.

It is time that their initiative and helping nature is recognised and rewarded. Rewarding these helpers has a greater unintended effect in the long run. It encourages more and more students to lend their helping hands. From now onwards the Class-wise Most Helpful Student Award is also are initiated.
