Greenwood High School celebrated Children’s Day with joy and enthusiasm on 14th November 2025 as the Greenwood High School teachers took the lead in presenting a memorable program. The event began with a thoughtful message by Spandana mam, followed by inspiring speeches from Shivaji Sir and Shivanand Sir. A heartfelt poem by Rida added a warm emotional touch and a new word introduced by Tasleem added colour to the celebration.


Shalini Ma’am conducted an engaging Math Quiz that was a piece of cake for many students, while Ramadevi Ma’am tested everyone’s awareness with her GK questions.The event also featured a news presentation by Arshiya Ma’am, keeping students informed and aware. A soulful song by Mohan Sir added melody to the celebration, making the atmosphere as light as a feather.




The teachers then presented an entertaining skit that had everyone laughing—proving that teachers can let their hair down and enjoy as much as the students!
One of the most thrilling parts of the day was the Treasure Huntorganized for the student council. With clever clues hidden all around the school, the activity turned into a roller coaster of excitement, encouraging teamwork, quick thinking, and lots of fun.


The Primary Section of Greenwood High School also celebrated Children’s Day with great excitement and joyful smiles.


The celebration began with a peaceful Shloka by Ms. Swetha Ma’am, followed by an inspiring speech by Ms. Saniya Ma’am. A melodious song by the Telugu teachers filled the hall with energy and happiness.
Students enjoyed a beautiful poetry recitation by Ms. Mounika Ma’am before being entertained by a lively skit presented by the primary teachers. Fun riddles kept the children thinking and laughing at the same time!


The excitement grew as the most awaited event, the Fancy Dress Competition, took place. The children dressed up creatively, turning the stage into a colourful parade of characters.


Teachers also conducted the ‘Give the Mic’ program and a cheerful Collect the Cones activity, where children participated with great enthusiasm.
After the morning events, students enjoyed dance performances and a hilarious jokes session, which had everyone in splits. The program ended on a warm note with the Teachers vs Students segment, making the day the icing on the cake.
Overall, the Primary Children’s Day celebration was filled with learning, laughter, and lively performances—perfectly capturing the spirit of childhood
Dignitaries addressed the students, appreciated and encouraged them.
Overall, the Children’s Day celebration was a roaring success, filled with memorable moments, enthusiastic participation, and cheerful smiles. It was a day that reminded everyone—teachers and students alike—that childhood is a treasure and joy is best celebrated together.
