Owing to Greenwood Director Dr. Sri G. Bharadwaja Naidu’s trust and backing, Santosh Ballu and Sathish Garla the visionary founders of CognoSpace, have introduced an innovative experiential learning program that has found its home in Greenwood High School for the academic year 2023-24. The program has been designed to revolutionize education by adhering to the timeless wisdom of Aristotle: “FOR THE THINGS WE HAVE TO LEARN BEFORE WE CAN DO THEM, WE LEARN BY DOING THEM.”

CognoSpace is not just a run-of-the-mill educational initiative; it is a hands-on education platform designed to complement conventional classroom learning with engaging experimentation and cutting-edge educational technology. With an extensive curriculum comprising a staggering 300 practical lesson plans, the program aims to help students truly understand and apply what they learn.

In terms of execution, CognoSpace has created modern, vibrant classroom within the school, equipped with everything needed for the program’s delivery. These spaces house everyday objects for conceptual experiments and state-of-the-art STEM kits, as well as futuristic educational technologies, including Virtual Reality for virtual field trips, Augmented Reality, and 3D printingfor immersive learning.

This program consists of two key modules: a conceptual module that reinforces classroom learning through experimentation and an application module that introduces students to emerging fields like Robotics, Electronics, Electricals, Renewable Energy, AI, and Structural Engineering and so on. It caters to high school students from Class VI to X and seamlessly integrates with the regular school curriculum throughout the year.

Recognizing that education goes beyond academic knowledge, CognoSpace dedicates 20% of its program to nurturing students’ communication, public speaking, and behavioral skills. Through creative activities that combine science, mathematics, and art, students are expected to develop confidence, overcome stage fear, and enhance their overall personality.
