India Won her freedom on 15th August 1947 and became republic on 26th January 1950. It was a day of rejoicing in our Greenwood School . The Day was celebrated with great Eclat. The program began at 8am. The worthy Head Master unfurled the National Flag.
The students sang the National Anthem. There were some very inspiring patriotic songs sung by the students of different classes.

There were stirring speeches by the Students , teachers and by the principal.
The kinder garden children performed a Dance and it was the highlight of program. In fact it is a day of rejoicing and merry making. May we continue celebrating this day forever.
Today I was so disappointing from the school management because I came to school to watch my brother dance but dance is only cancelled we buy day new dress for him from last three days his going on practice but you all cancel so I was so disappointed for this
